Over his more than 25 years in practice, David has helped clients prevail in a range of claims, earning record-setting verdicts and results profiled in the national media, and praised throughout the local and legal communities. In addition to fighting for clients in the courtroom, David is also an active lecturer, guest speaker, and active member of various advocacy groups and non-profits, with a particular focus on supporting children with special needs.

 

• Bill Bystrynski – Partner Bill Bystrynski, selected for inclusion in the areas of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, and Product Liability, has been named to the North Carolina Super Lawyers list every year since the peer-review service’s distinction was established. In addition to being named among the state’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Association for Justice, Bill has also earned a reputation for handling complex claims with the highest of stakes and in the highest of courts. That includes two notable U.S. Supreme Court cases, including one which resulted in a 2013 ruling in which Supreme Court Justices declared North Carolina’s Medicare law unconsunstitutional. That decision had major implications for seriously injured victims nationwide, allowing them to retain more of the settlements they’re paid by individuals and entities responsible for causing them harm and losses. He is actively involved in Legal Aid, community, and charitable foundations.
